Unfortunately, the sinners that perpetrate those sins, either don't yet know it, or their witting and know full well that they're partaking in that sin, but have chosen to continue in it, under the delusional deception that they will somehow come out on top. It is unfortunate because in either case, their actions, witting or unwitting, are leading them to the unpardonable sin - the sin that cannot be forgiven, simply because the sinner that perpetrates it either refuses to acknowledge it (confess it), or denies that it is sin (denies they are a sinner). What can God do with such a soul, except grant them their right to their choice.
But in all the complexities of the the world system, making an attempt to solve the "Jewish" problem (which is Biblical in that God told us that She would be a stumbling stone to ALL nations), what should the follower and disciple of Christ be doing? How should we then live?
We should live like Christ. Period!
The world is fixated on the physical, bent on establishing longevity of life, even while they're obsessed with death (promotion of abortion, and terrorist activities). Many "church" congregations, have faltered, or are buckling at the preaching of the Word of God.
The world thinks they can establish a utopia without God and they are deceived in thinking that eliminating the Jews will work to that end.
The false church thinks they can usher in the Kingdom of God without the King. To what extent they think they can do this without Christ returning and establishing His Kingdom, is measurable by how far they're strayed from accepting the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, 66 books, as the final and sufficient authority and power to convert souls for salvation through faith in Christ.
To be sure, if the Scriptures are truncated or outright disregarded, then the false church will not have a chance to discern that the Scriptures clearly indicate that Christ WILL be the catalyst that ushers in the 1000 year Kingdom. This is how so many during the Tribulation will ignore or refuse to admit that the judgments of God are going on all around them, yet still shake their fist at God. This is how, in Moses' day so many lives were lost to a curse because they refused to acknowledge that looking at a brass serpent on a pole was sufficient to save their souls. And so it is the same old story today, where that brass serpent was a foreshadow of Christ being lifted up on the cross and their need to "look unto" Him upon whom their sin was laid (the brass was a symbol of sin in the Old Testament).
The world is on a one way path to the Tribulation, just as the Scripture lays out clearly for those who have an ear to hear and understand and eyes to see and perceive - these are spiritually understood and perceived Truths that God so desires to reveal to anyone who would call out to Him!
That's the urgency! It has always been the urgency for Christ followers to live as witnesses for the lost and dying world around them before it's too late for them.
So what are true Christ followers to do?
True Christ followers need to wake up and step up.
Christ followers should not count their lives dear to them:
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24).
Our course is to glorify Christ. We can only do that by walking and living in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
It is not a call to frivolously and half hazardously act and react to the worlds atrocities in carnal ways. That does NOT mean we do not protect our families and stand up for the defenseless. It does me that we remember that in the warfare that we're up against, the spirit of antichrist, our goal in the battle (physical or spiritual) always remains to be the glory of God, through the testifying of the gospel of the grace of God. That means obedience. That means we need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, through which God gives us conversion, comfort, and direction.
Conversion because He ALWAYS points to Christ is three ways:
- First He points us to Christ for salvation, using God's Word to bring conviction and repentance.
- Second, He points us to Christ as a standard to live by.
- Third, He points us to Christ and the power of His resurrection as the means and power to continue in the midst of threats and violence and insanity on every side. (Think, the baptism of the Holy Ghost).
Comfort because He IS THE Comforter, who Jesus said would come in His place.
Direction because, when we're truly converted by God, and comforted by His Spirit, and empowered by God, we find ourselves in a place where we see and know the will of God for the life, which we now live with Christ in us by the grace of God (Galatians 2:20).
