Any other reasons are either for our participation in the work to restore others to this intended place of worshipping Him; or they're just "practice" while we wait for our eternal place WITH Him, where we'll finally worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, uninhibited and in a perfected or completed state!
With that said, we should ask ourselves these questions:
- Am I just a Christian in the world, aimlessly wandering about with talents wrapped in a napkin, awaiting my Lord's return?
- Am I truly a work of God; something holy; something made not by the hands of men (me or other men), but wrought by the hand of God, through the atonement and revelation of Jesus Christ; perfected in the refining furnace of His love, mercy, justice, and grace; holy and set apart for Him to pour Himself into
Which one am I? Which one is evident to others that look on and into my life?
