We finished going through Chapter 6 together in the Attributes book, by Tozer, but let's not leave this attribute right away.
Let's meditate on God's grace for just one more study together.
So the assignment for June 10th is to do a word study on the word "grace".
Some recommendations and starter thoughts:
- Don't focus so much on statistics.
- What has grace done in the lives of some of the people of the Bible?
- What has grace done in your life?
- How can God, who is required to be just (by His own testimony), possibly give grace to the most vile sinners who have ever lived?
- What is the basis of God's grace?
- And what exactly does grace do for and to us?
Take a stab and answering those questions, backing you answers up with God's Word.
Be assured, we are not being graded. Like God's agape love, grace is steadfast, infinite and unwavering, and He offers it us all, who have no merit to receive it. What can we do with such a One as this God?
I know. I praise and worship Him because I was once lost, but now I am found!
Thank God for His amazing grace!
