We'll be picking up where we left off, at section, Some Things We Do Not Know, on Page 110.
As you prepare, here are some questions and thoughts:
Do I take God's grace for granted?
- As in, "Hey, I'm saved. I'll be effective for Him and His will later when I have more time, or after the ball game", or "...after this nap", or "...after thus and so."
I am SO glad that Jesus Christ forsook the pleasures of this world, which were offered to Him by the enemy of our souls. And in doing so, He proved that it IS POSSIBLE to live for the will of God in ALL aspects of our lives.
You might say, "Possible for Him only".
"I suppose so", I would reply.
But I'd add to that reply: "He doesn't expect US to live our lives to do His will in our own power!"
The next question is: "How much will I ask for, in order to do His will in the power of His love and resurrection?" Maybe the real question I should ask myself is, "Do I love Him more than 'these'"?(John 21)? Where 'these' are anything else that exists.
And then there's the Grace of God, that flows only through the Lamb of God!
