Or it might be beneficial to reflect also on where the Lord has been showing us something and in his power, we're already applied that patient endurance to that area of my life.
So here are some guidelines to consider:
- What areas of my life need to exhibit more patient endurance?
- What Scripture(s) inspire or move me to patient endurance?
- What Scripture(s), or examples of patient endurance or the lack thereof, do I relate to most?
And with that, a couple of challenging questions, in light of some pretty pressing circumstances that we're living in right now:
- How has the Lord spoken to me about this? For instance, has He spoken to me about waiting for Him for "big picture" life events? Or how about small details - does He care less about those, with respect to how they affect my life, given that He paid such a high price to salvage my life?
- How will I change or apply what He's showing me to my life in order to make myself more useful or even just malleable (or flexible) in how I relate to others as well as Him?
